Link, the Hero of time was descended from a noble bloodline during the Civil War in Hyrule. After the death of his mother, the infant Link was raised by the kokiri, the eternal forest children, as one of their own. Mido and some other Kokiri continuously picked on and antagonized him, but Link always recieved defense from a Kokiri Girl named Saria, who became Link's best friend. One day after Link's ninth birthday, Link met Navi the fairy and was sent on a quest to become the Hero of Time. The quest sent him 7 years into the future, where Link's seven closest friends, including Saria, were sent into the Sacred Realm to become Sages. Link, how

The Final ResolutionLink was despondant. Saria, the only girl he had ever loved, had been taken to the heavens as the Forest Sage. He needed her in his life, but the Goddesses didn't seem to care one bit. Link sat down, weeping, and began to chisel art onto a flat stone tablet. As soon as he finished the artwork, he carefully wrapped it in a sheet of parchment and mailed it off to Hyrule Castle. His work done, Link aimlessly wandered off into the Lost Woods, never to be seen again.
