Hero in the wind chapter 4The Tower of the Gods had several difficult trials meant for the Hero, but My descendant passed all the tests within. After defeating the God's chosen Guardian, a living statue named Gohdan, he descended beneath the waves to the remains of Hyrule. He saw my statue, the windows of my sage friends. He drew the master sword and broke the goddesses' seal on the castle. Trapped in the castle with a mob of Ganon's minions, my descendant defeated every last monster and reopened the barrier. Returning to the Pirate Fortress, my descendant finally saved his sister with help from Tetra and her crew. However upon confronting Ganon, the master sword had lost its power and my descendant and Tetra were saved only by the intervention of the Rito and Valoo, who set Ganon's chamber on fire. Taking Tetra down to Hyrule, she was revealed by the Spirit of the King to be Princess Zelda reincarnated.
Hero in the wind chapter 3With help from his living boat once again, My descendant sailed to Forest Haven, the remains of my childhood home, Kokiri Forest. Memories of Saria, Mido, Fado, and the other Kokiri filled my brain with nostalgia. But they had evolved after the flood, now they were tree-people called Koroks. My descendant met with my adoptive guardian, the Great Deku Tree. Oh, how the Deku sprout had grown so much since I passed away. He asked my descendant to rescue one of the Koroks, Makar was his name, from the remains of the original Deku Tree, now known as the Forbidden Woods. To help him get there, the Deku Tree gave him a deku leaf to glide on the winds. I can't help but feel a bit jealous now. Why did the Deku Tree never give me one of those!? My descendant arrived at the center of the Forbidden Woods just in time to witness Makar being eaten by a carnivorous plant calling itself Kalle Demos. But with help from a boomerang he found earlier, my descendant defeated Kalle Demos and save
Hero in the Wind chapter 2I watched as the pirates launched the boy into the old Fortress with their catapult. As he stealthily snuck throught the fortrss, I remembered sneaking through the Gerudo Pirates base in Termina. As he reached the top where the girls were held, the bird attacked and threw him off the fortress. For a moment I thought he was doomed. But a living red boat named the King of Red Lions saved him. There is something very familiar about that boat, but I cant quite put my finger on it. The boat took him to an Island called Dragon Roost, which had once been Death Mountain before the flood. The Gorons had all but drowned and a race of bird-men called the rito had settled in, worshipping the Great Dragon Valoo, the son of Volvagia. Memories of Brother Darunia came to my head. I shook them out and watched as my descendant helped the royal attendant of Valoo, a rito girl named Medli enter the mountain and follow. I was amazed as my descendant fought his way up the mountain and rescued Medli from a M
Hero in the Wind chapter 1Inside Hyrule castle, You can see a statue of me. In the basement, The Sages, Including my beloved Saria, are depicted in stained glass windows. My name is Link, the Hero of Time. I saved Hyrule from Ganondorf and his insane power. But I am no more. Hyrule is no more either, since Ganon broke free and the Gods flooded our land in an attempt to stop him. But there is still hope. On an island called Outset, my descendants live on, and wear green tunics like mine on their 12th birthday, the age I was when my quest began. I see a descendant of mine on his 12th birthday, where he dons an outfit akin to mine and unlike the rest of the children, actually visited a weaponsmith and acquired a sword of his own. I always wish I had someone to spar with. After getting his new sword, his little sister Aryll gave him her present, a telescope. Just afterwards, all hell broke loose as a giant bird fled over the island, being pursued by a pirate ship. The bird was carrying a blond Hylian gir
A guardian of Fire and EarthMy first memories are of my mother. She caressed me with love in the heat of our home, until the coming of the dark one. He placed a spell on my mother making her evil. She killed the stone men's leader before meeting her own end at the Hero's hands. He did what had to be done. I bear the hero no malice. I watched over the stone men for ages, as another hero saved the possessed new leader of the stone men. Until the flood. Most of the stone men drowned, but four of them built sturdy rafts and escaped. I stayed safe at the mountain's summit. Shortly after the flood, a tribe of bird-like people calling themselves the Rito came to the mountain. They worshipped me. They sacrificed their own in my honor. They feared me. But one Rito, a girl named Medli, did not fear me. She spoke to me, and we became friends. I shed a scaly tear for her that gave her wings. Medli was the one Rito who did not fear me. She acted as my attendant. Eventually, the Rito came of age and received their own wings fr
A Gerudo's questGanondorf sighed. His people the Gerudo, were suffering in the desert, but there was nowhere else to go. The Hyruleans abhorred the gerudo, and would not allow one near their settlements. Sighing, he walked out and sat on a cliff to think about what he was to do for his people. "Every problem has a solution." Nearly falling off the cliff, the Gerudo Prince turned around to see a half-visible figure. He was tall, broad shouldered, his hair glowed orange like fire, and his entire body was covered in black reptilian scales. Adorning his forehead was a white x-shaped scar. Around his waist he wore a satin kilt with a slit in the front. "Only the Triforce can help you". Ganondorf nearly fainted. The all-powerful triforce? It was real? Ganondorf returned to his chambers to draw up a plan to open the sacred realm.
A week later, Ganondorf hid in the doorway of the Temple of Time as the young boy in green opened the door of time. Silently following the boy, he watched as the boy pulled the mast
on old sanzu - absolutely true fictionlast fall i stole my friend down by the tama river. we sang. we danced. we skipped dead fish like rocks and watched them get swallowed by the undertow. we got sick off of bad chinese food and went skinny-dipping and then a week later she drowned herself.
her uncle was a yakuza, i think, but he really just wanted to be al pacino or something. anyway, she loved him a lot. maybe that’s why she went down the way she went down; cement shoes. not real cement, but it was the same idea. she had two cloth bags with yellow-painted cinderblocks inside, and they were tied to her ankles like the prisoners’ chains from o brother where art thou.
in my mind’s eye i can see her, limping dreadfully close to the edge of the current, her left hand gripping at her breasts through a loose t-shirt. kneeling by the wastelands, elbows in the gravel, crawling forward out into the water. angry like a dermis under wool, all teeth and salt and sand. sleepy, submissive, sublimated.
